The Forsyth Alliance has been active since 2005. The first Forsyth team was composed of high school students from several high schools and they entered the FIRST Robotics FRC competition, and even went to the finals in their rookie season. In 2007, we decided to give BEST a try, and in 2008, we started VEX as well.  We are trying to start a robotics team of some sort in every school in Forsyth County, GA. from elementary high schools (and even some home school teams). Fostering interest in robotics in all of our schools not only helps to get kids excited about robotics, but it also helps to ensure that the middle school and high school teams will have strong support from experienced robot builders in future years.  The younger teams form the "farm league" for the varsity teams!
