The time is near for the 2009 Smart Move fields to start showing up. They should be arriving for teams that registered early in the next week or so. Already on the web there are images of the field items available.

I just wanted to pass this along to all the teams, the YES organization is sponsoring a FLL coaches training session this weekend at Wheeler High school. If you are a new FLL coach or even a returning coach this could be a very useful session.

This FREE coaches training is sponsored by YES – Youth Engaged in Science and hosted by the Wheeler High School CircuitRunners (in Marietta), all FLL coaches are invited – especially if you are a new coach or just completed your first or second season. There is no set agenda, but we plan on covering the following:

2) What to do during the summer

3) What's this research project thing?

4) Team management

5) Season timeline

6) Resources available

7) Q&A with other coaches
